on either side of the Marayoor - Udumalpet road. It is the second
habitat of the endangered giant grizzled squirrel of india.

wildlife at close quarters from the road without venturing deep

Gaurs (bison). It is also a home to elephants, sloth bears,
wild boars, sambhars, chital tigers, panthers, and crocodiles.

is open throughout the year, but is best avoided during the
